4CASTER M2 — TARGETING MOBILE VIDEO APPLICATIONS
In anticipation of a converged IP world made up of hybrid networks and hybrid devices, the Envivio 4Caster M2 is an H.263/H.264 encoder able to support the widest range of devices on any mobile broadcast and any mobile 3G network.
To support network and device convergence, the 4Caster M2 offers a highly advanced feature set. The system can deliver video to any network, including 2.5G, 3G, and 3.5G networks, as well as next generation networks such as Wi-Fi and WiMAX.
The system can output and manage up to eight subscriber profiles simultaneously from a single input. The M2 offers extensive device support and is compatible with the most popular network standards, including 3GPP and 3GPP2.

4CASTER M4 — HEADEND SOLUTION FOR 3GPP MOBILE VIDEO APPLICATIONS
The Envivio 4Caster M4 is a telco-grade, quad-channel encoder that supports multiple-rates, multiple-resolutions and is capable of encoding in both H.263 and H.264. M4 allows operators to optimally distribute high quality content to mobile video subscribers. As an integral part of the Envivio Mobile Series, the 4Caster M4 complements the product range by offering affordable access to mobile encoding for 2.5G, 3G and 3.5G network operators.
The 4Caster M4 is a high-density product supporting four separate analog channel inputs in a space saving one rack unit (RU). Operators may select up to three different output profiles per input channel. M4 delivers the industry's leading video quality and provides mobile operators with advanced features such as live bit rate switching and advanced rate control.

4MANAGER — HEADEND MANAGEMENT TOOL
Envivio 4Manager is a robust management system that supervises and monitors 4Caster encoding devices throughout the entire network service flow offering redundancy mechanisms to avoid single points of failure. Specifically designed to work within the IP transport environment, 4Manager is ideally suited to manage 4Caster M2 and 4Caster M4 for mobile video delivery.
4Manager offers a simple and comprehensive interface to control and monitor headend appliances and is compatible with over 1000 different devices, including encoders, video routers, satellite reception equipment and signal modulators and demodulators. 4Manager maximizes video headend availability and reliability by reporting system malfunctions and by offering advanced automatic 1+1 and N+M redundancy protection switching. It also includes configuration and firmware upgrade capabilities to simplify operational tasks.
