26 Mobile Operators in 17 countries have chosen RealNetworks’ Helix mobile platform to deliver media content

(Nasdaq: RNWK), the leading creator of digital media services and software, today announced that leading European mobile operators are choosing RealNetworks’ Helix™ Universal mobile platform as the foundation to launch new video and audio content services over their 2.5G and 3G networks. Building on the company’s previously announced Vodafone relationship, 26 mobile operators, including market leaders O2, Telefónica Móviles España, Telecom Italia Mobile (for Mobile TV Services), TMN, WIND, TeliaSonera and others have chosen RealNetworks mobile platform, making RealNetworks the clear leader in mobile media delivery infrastructure. These operators have a combined mobile consumer footprint in Europe and the Middle East spanning 17 countries and reaching over 180 million mobile subscribers.
