REALNETWORKS ANNOUNCES REALPLAYER 10 FOR MAC OS X
Newest RealPlayer Delivers Friendly Simple to Use Experience and Premium Content Services for Mac Users
SEATTLE, WA — June 28, 2004 — RealNetworks®, Inc. (Nasdaq: RNWK) the leading creator of digital media services and software, will this week release the free RealPlayer® 10 for Mac OS X. Available in beta, the newest RealPlayer from RealNetworks enables Mac OS X consumers to enjoy hundreds of hours of audio and video content in many of the major Internet media formats, including RealAudio®, RealVideo®, AAC, QuickTime and MPEG. Also included in the RealPlayer for Mac OS X beta are an integrated browser window, advanced video controls and graphic equalizer. The RealPlayer for Mac OS X beta will be available this Wednesday, June 30th, for free download at www.real.com/mac.
Additionally, RealNeworks today announced that its Real™ Export Plug-in for Mac is available in final form as a free download, enabling Mac-based content creators to easily create RealAudio 10 and RealVideo 10 content from their favorite Mac OS X media applications.

Real Export Plug-in enables editors for the first time to export high-quality RealAudio 10 and RealVideo 10 media formats directly from professional media applications including, Apple Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects and Premiere, Avid Xpress Pro and Discreet Cleaner. As a result, content authors now can prepare their media content for Internet streaming in industry-leading RealVideo 10 and RealAudio 10 directly from their preferred non-linear editor, saving several steps in a typical workflow.
