REALNETWORKS SUPPORTS LOCAL MUSIC AND EDUCATION WITH SPONSORSHIP OF THE NORTHWEST SCHOOL'S BENEFIT CONCERT AND 25TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
Concert to feature Pearl Jam, The Presidents of the United States of America, Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart, Bill Frisell and Students of The Northwest School
SEATTLE — March 16, 2005 — In its ongoing efforts to support the local community, RealNetworks®, Inc. (Nasdaq: RNWK), today announced that the company is a platinum corporate sponsor for The Northwest School benefit concert taking place March 18th at Seattle's Paramount Theater. The concert will feature live performances by Pearl Jam, Presidents of the United States of America, Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart, Bill Frisell and Northwest School students.

The Northwest School is a Seattle college preparatory school celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. The school promotes cross-disciplinary study between the Humanities, Sciences, and Performing and Fine Arts. Pearl Jam’s Stone Gossard and the Presidents’ Jason Finn are both alumni of the school. Ann Wilson is a parent of a current student and Bill Frisell is a parent of a Northwest School alumna.
Only 400 tickets to the benefit were made available for auction to the general public, with the majority of tickets allotted to family members and friends affiliated with The Northwest School and the respective artists' fan clubs.
