Real has a long-standing commitment to the development and commercial implementation of standards. Real was a co-author of the original RTSP specification, now used by over 20 ISVs and participated in the development of SMIL. Both RTSP and SMIL are commercially supported in the Helix™ product suite.
We are active members of IETF, W3C, 3GPP, IMTC and MPEG4-IF. Our goal is to make standards viable commercially to our customers.
