RealSystem Extensions for Dreamweaver 4, making it easier to integrate streaming media into your Web page layout/design. The RealSystem object panel allows you to compose streaming media content using one or more RealSystem media types and to simply add these to your Web page. Step-by-step dialogs allow content authors to browse to (local) media or enter a URL to access content available over the Internet. Resulting RealSystem metafiles (.rpm) are generated automatically, and existing SMIL presentations can also be easily added to Web pages.
Commonly used RealPlayer controls can be placed directly/anywhere in the Web page. Playback controls, status panels, and volume sliders can be added as a convenience to Web page visitors. Resulting pages are compatible with both Netscape 4.0 and Internet Explorer 4.0 (or later).
RealAudio, RealVideo, SMIL content can be placed anywhere in the Web page. Dreamweaver objects make it simple to insert multimedia into Web pages; RealSystem delivers synchronized playback of streaming media.
